The WAEA board is excited to offer
WAEA Membership Scholarships. Donations provide scholarships for potential members, for whom the $130 fee is a barrier to participation, to receive a free year of WAEA membership. Scholarship awardees are expected to actively participate in the WAEA during their free membership year. This could include attending board meetings, regional in-person events, presenting at the annual Fall conference, or writing an article for Splatter Magazine. Before you apply, be sure you have looked into other resources for funding, such as your building or district professional development funds, PD grants, a school district foundation or even your school’s ASB. (If you are the sponsor of a National Art Honor Society club, often times your ASB will pay the NAEA Dues as part of the club fees.) *Scholarship applications will be reviewed and granted at WAEA open membership meetings. |
There are many ways you can help Sponsor and Support this WAEA event:
- participating in the Vendor Fair,
- providing SWAG,
- providing Door Prizes for the Party,
- providing Silent Auction items to benefit the WAEA scholarship fund,
- purchasing AD Space in Splatter Magazine,
- sharing your non-profit information/resources with us,
- become a WAEA Gold or Silver level Sponsor to get perks throughout the year!
