Each year WAEA honors an art educator who has made significant contributions to WAEA over a long period of time. The winner is recognized at the OSPI Superintendent's High School Art Show Reception in May.
Each year the NAEA Awards Program offers the opportunity to nominate outstanding art educators in all Divisions and Regions, and from each state and province for national recognition in 142 individual awards.
